The college provides for accommodation on its premises or within easy reach of the college (about 5 km by bus). All meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) may be ordered and are prepared by the college's own catering department. There are various options for transport to and from Prague. Typically non residential students living in Prague arrive by bus from Zličín (metro, line B ) early in the morning and return at 16.20 from St. John's College, the journey takes about 17 minutes.
Travel to the Czech Republic is very straight forward with regular daily scheduled flights to Prague's airport from many countries or by connection through another major european airport. Trans-european coach and train services are also available.
The college administrative staff can help with all the necessary documentation for the duration of the course.
The college is a place where the student can be part of a close knit but active multi- denominational Christian community where they can shape their personal and spiritual growth and development. Personal tutors are available for individual students and tutors will deal with their social and academic progress.

The college insists on a drug free environment and smoking is not allowed within the college. This reflects the social and personal responsibility of the students and staff.
The location of the college close to the National Park in the beautiful countryside provides a very safe environment for students in this multicultural community while enjoying the benefits of the proximity of a major European capital city.
The College community organises activities on a regular basis, including choral and instrumental concerts, visits to Prague for the theatre and to art exhibitions. Each May "St. John's Week" provides an opportunity to develop skills through workshops in the arts. Students organise their own special activities, including drama, literary evenings and carnivals.
There is wide range of sporting and outdoor activities. Activities can include mountain biking, climbing, orienteering, trekking and canoeing. Summer and winter sports courses are also organised.
The college advises students on all administration aspects relating to their stay in the Czech Republic. Students provide their own medical insurance cover but there is also a doctor on routine call who will advises on local health matters, too.
