Information about EU Minerva Project

We would like to inform you that in October 2005 we intend to establish an equivalent English language branch of the college which has been running since 1996 for Czech speaking students. For those students who need to do a preparatory course in English as a foreign language (and/or basics of Czech), a half or full year course will be run from October or March, respectively. In addition short courses specifically designed for ecological and environmental education will be offered.

St. John's College is located in a small village only 20 km from Prague, the capital city of the Czech Republic.The college is accommodated in a historic building, formerly a Benedictine monastery. The wonderful natural surroundings provide a perfect background both for study and leisure time. There are well equipped lecture rooms, a computer laboratory with internet connections, a library, ceramic and textile workshops, a gym and an activities area ,extensive gardens and woodlands, a greenhouse, and a small farm (with ponies, sheep and goats).
